Well the 2011 season is behind us and I have to say WHAT A SEASON!!!!! We met some great people, made new friends, and reconnected with some old ones.
The weather was the typical SE Alaska weather – oh wait a minute there is NO typical SE Alaska weather unless you count the guaranteed rain that we get when we live in a temperate rainforest. We will just say we all got to experience everything Mother Nature had to show us (and more).
We have loads of folks now part of the Glacier Plunge Club – not for the faint of heart – think polar plunge but better:), had several day spas with Glacial Facials and waterfall rinses, and of course the critters and gorgeous SE Alaska scenery.
Our new Whale Song was comfortable and offered guests a bit more room to spread out and relax. Looking forward to getting some additional work done on our home this winter. It is fun and rewarding and I always look forward to the reactions of guests when they step on the boat for the first time.
